Marshmallow Mangonels

A few weeks ago our Sally told us "That soon we where going to build our mangonels".
After making them then we were finished and then we tested them. Me and Ruby were in a group and our one went 3.5 metres. It was so fun. Charle & Ollie won . We got a marshmallow after. Wwe had lots of fun.!!!  You rock Sally.

BYOD arguments

Room 5 have being  writing BYOD letters about bringing our own devices to school.

Dear Board of Trustees,

I believe that we should not have Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) at school.

BYOD is bring devices such as tablets, Ipads, laptops & ipod touches to

to use for learning.

I  disagree  because kids are too young. I think the kids are too young because

they might not be able to keep it safe. Some kids can't keep track of their clothes

so some might not be able to keep track of their devices.

I disagree that NCS should have BYOD because they cost a lot of money and people

might not be be able to afford them. It won't be fair on others that don't have a device

that they can use at school. Some kids that don't have a device might feel left out.

I don't think NCS should have BYOD because you have to charge them a lot.  It will

cost the school to pay for the electricity for them.

My last reason is that NCS should not have BYOD because 75% of parents don't agree that kids should not have them because they  don't trust them.

Camp 2013

My highlight at camp was the water slide.
